Palm Bay is the sixth largest city in Florida. Palm Bay has easy access to the Kennedy Space Center, just 45 miles north, and all of the Orlando attractions are only 60 miles to the west. Swimming, surfing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, golf and tennis are just some of the sports available in the Palm Bay area. Deep-sea and charter boat fishing are available and freshwater fishing areas include Lake Poinsett and Lake Washington. The city of Palm Bay is growing by leaps and bonds. Affordable housing is in abundance in Palm Bay. Local schools and community events are some of best that Florida and Brevard County have to offer.
Palm Bay is known as the fastest growing city in Florida. For many years most of Palm Bay laid dormant, a docile city that would soon become one of states most in demand parcels of real estate. Who would have imagined a town that just 10 years ago was mostly vacant land has spruced up to a very beautiful Florida landmark. Palm Bay is contained in the southern and western most portion of Brevard County. With many developments and new homes popping up everywhere there is plenty of opportunities to find housing and condos. Located close to I-95, Palm Bay is adjacent to area beaches and rivers. Orlando, central Florida, and area attractions are no more than an hour and half away. The city of Palm Bay’s website http://www.palmbayflorida.org/ is a great resource for local information on parks, activities, sports, recreational activities, government, employment, areas maps, building codes, local ordinances, and agendas.
